Is there, actually, for real, a version of the board game ‘Articulate’ for your dog?
A sentence that we never thought we’d have to write.
We did put this out on social media a while back, but feel that this deserves some sort of formal corporate statement: no, there is not, and has never been, a version of Articulate! aimed at the dog population.
Despite what Google A.I. has been telling people to the contrary.

It’s fair to say that we were pretty taken aback when somebody pointed us towards this. A.I. getting things ‘a little bit wrong’ is a regrettably common scenario, but here it was in black and white. Complete with recommended stockists.
There was no great mystery about the source of the confusion.
A few years ago, having too much time on our hands, we wrote a silly little blog post here on April 1st, about this new game that we were planning, from a separate division of the company that would be named – hohoho – ‘Drumond Bark’.
We chortled about this for a bit, then forgot about it. Who’d have known, eh?

Happily, we’ve not had too many complaints from angry dog owners following wasted trips to their local Argos with a disappointed pet.
But to clear things up, here’s the official company position:
Is there a version of the board game ‘Articulate’ for dogs?
No.
Is Drumond Park planning to release a version of the board game ‘Articulate’ for dogs, at some point in the future?
Well, never say never. We pride ourselves on innovating, and our development team are always tinkering with new ideas. And obviously if there is genuine demand from dog-owners, dog-lovers or dogs themselves then that’d be a consideration.
My dog would love this, and I’d like to register my interest – what should I do?
Probably the best thing at the moment would be to head over to the official Virtual Articulate Cards, where there’s a feedback form. We’re keeping a close eye on this at the mo, so any canine-related suggestions will go straight into the mix.
My cat’s feeling left out. What can I do?
No problem! Here's some photos of cats playing Articulate!
