The Traitors Official Board Game – Prepare to play!

In the shops now, it’s the Official Board Game based on the smash-hit BBC sensation.

For 4-6 players, it’s a great excuse to get the family together for a spot of treachery, or summon your ever-scheming friends and neighbours round to show them some double-edged hospitality.

So, what can your own personal conclave expect?

(We hope that’s answered one of your obvious immediate questions: ‘if I’m banished or murdered, do I have to sit out the rest of the game?’ To which the answer is: ‘nope – you’re all in it right up to the end!’)

As you’d expect, The Traitors is a board game of tactics, ingenuity, bluff and collaboration.

But it’s important to stress: you don’t have to be a hardcore, heads-down strategy gamer to enjoy this. The game’s most definitely been designed for us everyday enthusiasts of The Traitors… yes, things can get intense, but you’ll enjoy a lot of laughs in the process!

The printed instructions are broken down into the different phases of the game – Mission, The Round Table, Armoury and Night.

You’re encouraged to study these instructions in easy bite-sized chunks, as and when you reach each particular phase. No need to remember everything at once.

There’s also a QR code on the instructions that’ll send you to a video walk-through, which, again, you can fast-forward at will.

(Top tip from us: pay attention to the bits that warn you not to read the game cards in advance, or to shuffle them!)

By order of the Traitors, you’re all guaranteed to enjoy a very memorable evening.

In fact, there’s even a ‘hall of fame’ sheet included, where you can record the winner of each adventure for posterity.
